LAMINATION FILES – Profile™, Excel™ and Combination
There are three primary files used exclusively for edge work on laminate material applied to counter tops and table work. The The Profile™ is the most common looking like a Mill File. However, this file is especially designed and sharpened for work on plastics, and laminate material. The Excel™ is for the same work made more coarse for heavier stock removal and with chip breakers to eliminate clogging. The Combination, a multi purpose lamination file with the Profile® cut on one side of the file and the Excel® tooth design on the other with a paddle handle.
