HAND
Swiss Pattern (meaning Swiss specification) Hand; a tanged precision file which meets or exceeds US Government specifications GGG-F-331b. Rectangular in shape, parallel sides, tapers slightly in thickness from shoulder to blunt point double cut. Two square edges, one single cut, the other uncut (safe). Used for removing stock on flat surfaces. A similar files but smaller in steel section dimensions (primarily in width) would be the Pillar in regular, narrow and extra narrow.
